Report: Milan Lucic to Vancouver becoming more and more likely
TSN's Darren Dreger mentioned in Insider Trading the Vancouver Canucks feel Milan Lucic still has some game, and have discussed the gritty winger with the Edmonton Oilers.
Dreger feels the Oilers are willing to swap Lucic for Loui Eriksson, only if the Oilers sweeten the deal a touch, as Lucic has an additional year on his contract. Eriksson has played 3 seasons with Oilers new head coach Dave Tippett, and the management team feels there could be some value in this move for both clubs.
It seems inevitable this trade is finalized at the NHL Draft, the only question is, what do the Oilers add to the deal? 3rd round pick, perhaps? Benning?
Do you think Lucic has anything left in the tank?
