Rumor: Patrik Laine wants out of Winnipeg

According to the Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, Patrik Laine wants out of Winnipeg after contract talks are leading nowhere and Laine will seek every potential option.

While he appeared on NHL Network Radio, Pagnotta stated that Laine and the Winnipeg Jets have had a falling out and Laine wants out now. Pagnotta followed up by saying that Laine may even sign an offer sheet if one is offered.

Earlier this year, Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos stated that the Jets aren't comfortable in signing Laine long-term as he is not the natural goal scorer they thought he was.
