The Canucks have bought out forward Ryan Spooner

A tough year for Ryan Spooner as the forward has been bought out by the Vancouver Canucks.

Spooner who was involved in multiple trades last season, could not find consistency, and can you blame him. 16 games with the Rangers, 25 games with the Oilers and 11 games with the Canucks. He ended the year managing only 9 points.

For the Canucks, with the news of Roberto Luongo retiring and the eventually cap hit they receive, some money needed to come off the books and Spooner was an easy target.
