The New York Rangers managed to avoid arbitration with their top RFA this year, Jacob Trouba.
The Rangers have agreed to a 7-year contract with Jacob Trouba. This carries an annual cap hit of 8 million dollars.


New York is now above the cap ceiling, and will likely be trading one of Ryan Strome, Vladislav Namestnikov, Chris Kreider, or Pavel Buchnevich in the coming days.
