Don Cherry fires back at reporter for starting firing rumors

Don Cherry aka Grapes has been a staple on Hockey Night in Canada for decades and despite the rumors, his Coach's Corner in the first intermission on Saturday nights isn't going anywhere.

The 85-year-old hockey icon took to Twitter to shut up TSN's Steve Simmons who keeps starting rumors about Cherry leaving the network year after year:

1) I must say I am hurt and disappointed that my friend Steve Simmons would suggest in his Sunday column that Hockey Night in Canada might not want me back for next year. I was told a week after the playoffs I would be back.
