St Louis acquires college star from the Maple Leafs
The St Louis Blues and the Toronto Maple Leafs have completed a deal involving college player Dakota Joshua heading to the Champs for future considerations.
Joshua attended Ohio State University for 4 seasons and had an outstanding college career. The forward finished his career with 41 goals and 100 points in 128 games. He was named 2018 NCAA Midwest Regional All-Tournament, and a two-time All-Academic Big Ten.
The Dearborn, Michigan native was selected in the fifth round by the Maple Leafs but failed to sign. The Blues have signed Joshua to a two-year entry level deal.
The Blues are hopeful Joshua can get some seasoning in the AHL this season and step in no time.
