The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed a goaltender
The Columbus Blue Jackets have finalized a deal for goaltender Joonas Korpisalo. The deal is reported to be for a one-year contract extension for $1.15 million.
This news should finalize Sergei Bobrovsky's time in Columbus as Goalie Bob' is expected to sign with the Florida Panthers or New York Islanders.
Korpisalo should flourish in a starting role as last season he finished with 2.95 gaa, and will be asked to carry the load for CBJ.

Would expect Korpisalo and Merzlikins to make up #CBJ goaltending duo next season. https://t.co/U4YaSjEpV9— Chris Johnston (@reporterchris) July 1, 2019
