BREAKING: Former NHL enforcer busted for cocaine
According to Radio-Canada's Yannick Bergeron, former NHL tough guy Donald Brashear has been arrested for possession of cocaine and criminal mischief after he broke a window in Des Chalets, Quebec.
Brashear will appear in court on September 4th to contest the charges laid against him, the punishment is unclear at this time. According to court documents, Brashear broke a window for an unknown reason and when detained by police officers, he was found in possession of an illegal substance that is believed to be cocaine.
Brashear is the second NHLer to have been involved in a cocaine scandal in as many weeks. Washington Capitals' Evgeny Kuznetsov was handed a 4-year ban from the IIHF after he tested positive for cocaine.
