Flyers and RFA Travis Konency agree on new extension
Scratch another RFA off of the list as the Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Travis Konency to a 6 year deal worth $33 million dollars.
The Flyers' pest finished last season with 49 points in 82 games, after managing close to 50 points the previous season. The Flyers selected the London, ON native in the 1st round, 24th overall in the 2015 draft.
The deal comes days after new Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault made public comments about his disappointment on Konency missing camp:
