New Jersey agrees to a new deal with RFA Pavel Zacha
The New Jersey Devils and restricted free agent Pavel Zacha have come to terms on a new contract. The deal is for 3 years at an AAV of $2.25 million.
The new contract will run through the 2021-22 season and the breakdown is as follows:
2019-20: $1.75 million
2020-21: $2.00 million
2021-22: $3.00 million
Zacha is now entering his 4th season in the show and is coming off a career high in goals (13) and tied his season high in points with (25).
The Devils' first round pick, 6th overall, back in 2015 and is expected to be given every opportunity to shine with New Jersey's new high powered offense.
As training camp approaches, more and more RFA deals are being announced.
