Report: San Jose has no desire to sign Patrick Marleau

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the San Jose Sharks have informed free agent Patrick Marleau and his agent, at this time, there is no fit for Marleau on their team.

Marleau who sold his house in Toronto, which started the rumors of his departure, has since been traded to Carolina, bought out, and now is sitting by the phone waiting for a concrete over. He does have aspirations to play the full season.

Earlier this week we brought to your attention, Marleau had interest returning to San Jose, however, it appears the feeling is not mutual.

Expect to hear names like Edmonton, Colorado, Arizona and LA in the mix for the veteran leader.
