Taylor Hall is fed up with Devils fans
Taylor Hall is an unrestricted free agent this upcoming offseason and it's nights like tonight that make you think he's considering leaving. After the Devils lost to the Lightning in overtime on Wednesday night, Hall didn't hold back his feelings about the noise from the crowd.
Fans pay money and are entitled to make as much tolerable noise at games they choose. However, it appears Hall isn't happy with the timing of the chirping and the boos, and perhaps he has a point. 1-3 on the power play would almost lead the league.
If Hall is moved it appears the early favourites are the Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche but a lot will change once the probability of Hall changing teams increases and other teams get involved. At this point it's anyone's guess where Hall plays next season. They just better seat a positive fan base.
The Devils vs Lightning game had it all including a tying goal from Kyle Palmieri with seconds left. It's no secret the negotiations with Hall's camp haven't gone quite as planned during the preliminary talks and now with the wait and see approach, the chatter surrounding Hall's name on the trade market is going to ramp up.#NJDevils Taylor Hall: “We’re kind of battling our own fans right now. We were 1-for-3 on the power play and we are getting booed. It’s a tie game that we are getting booed.”— Corey Masisak (@cmasisak22) October 31, 2019
