Wild Jason Zucker calls out his head coach after a players-only meeting
Jason Zucker had to deal with trade rumors all summer and when Phil Kessel declined a move to Minnesota, Zucker knew he wasn't going anywhere any time soon. Turns out he's sick and tired of losing and he's blaming every body under the sun.
Following the Wild's 4-0 loss to Montreal on Thursday night, Zucker spoke out about his frustrations and admitted everybody including the coach needs to get better. Everything transpired from a 10-minute players only meeting where Zucker and captain Mikko Koivu addressed the team.
These days, needless to say, the Wild are easily tamed.

Some things needed to be said and Mikko covered them. I think more than (a players-only meeting) is going to have to jump-start us, to be honest. It's going to be each individual guy, from (coach) Bruce on down. Bruce has got to be better. We have got to be better. Everybody's got to be better. That's it.The Wild have been horrible to start the season and look a step behind the league. They are big and slow and can't generate anything off the rush. Their boring style is an eye sore to watch and they currently have the league's worst goal differential at minus-15 to start the season.
These days, needless to say, the Wild are easily tamed.
