Blues' Binnington thinks he deserved Rookie of the Year, not Pettersson

St. Louis Blues' netminder Jordan Binnington believes he was robbed of the Calder Trophy by Canucks' Elias Pettersson last year.

There's a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth about the outcome last year, Binnington stated. But he's a talented player, so it's good going up against some of the best.

When the Athletic's Wyatt Arndt asked him if he felt he deserved the Calder over Pettersson, Binnington replied he believed so before rapidly changing the subject.
