Former Flame, Akim Aliu accuses head coach, Bill Peters of using racial slurs
Akim Aliu took to Twitter on Monday night as the former Calgary Flame spoke out tonight about how he was treated by his former coach, and current Flames coach, Bill Peters. He even managed to drag Mike Babcock's name into the mix and the whirlwind week in the NHL continues.
Aliu has played only 7 NHL games, scoring twice, in a career that has spanned over a decade. The gritty forward has been around, playing on over 22 teams as a pro. Bill Peters was his coach in his rookie pro season in Rockford of the AHL.
