Video: Kings' Drew Doughty blasts the media in Vancouver, 'the guy's an idiot'

Drew Doughty is on his way to the hall of fame, and knows what it takes to win in the NHL. He was recently asked to comment about Alex Ovechkin's comments regarding the Maple Leafs and what it takes to win in the league, and according to Doughty, the media is up to their old tricks.

The media initially turned the comments into him taking a chance to dissect the Maple Leafs and what they need to do to win the cup. Today, Doughty was asked in Toronto about his comments and his reaction is perfect.

Drew Doughty, on his comments in Vancouver: "The guy's an idiot that made all that happen. What I was trying to say there is they're a young team, we're an old team, and we lost the game like 8-1 and that's just ridiculous for a veteran team. Just standard people making it run."
