Video: Sidney Crosby gifts All-Star MVP car to a Veteran in need
Sidney Crosby is the poster child of the NHL and rightfully so. Sid has a heart of gold and it's things like this where everyone sits back and applauds his actions because it's absolutely pure and genuine.
With Veterans Day just around the corner in the States, and Remembrance Day in Canada, Sidney Crosby felt it was the perfect time to remember a veteran. The Penguins superstar decided to donate the brand-new 2019 Honda Passport he won for being the MVP at the 2019 NHL All-Star Game, to Madeline Malizio.
The 28-year-old has been an Army Specialist for the past five years and is going to school, majoring in Legal Studies. She's a single mother to a three-year-old son, Maverick. Before Friday, she didn't have a car, so Sid caught wind, and made sure to change that for Madeline and her family.
Sid, we salute you...
