Goalie who nearly bled to death in OHL game released from hospital
Last week, in an Ontario Hockey League game between the Niagara IceDogs and London Knights, IceDogs goaltender Tucker Tynan was critically injured by a skate cut to his leg and nearly bled to death on the ice. The game was cancelled as a result. Watch the horrific scene here:
Medics were able to stop the bleeding and he was rushed to the hospital. Today the IceDogs announced that Tynan was released from the hospital and is headed back home to Chicago, Illinois to continue recovery.
