Gotta See It: John Tortorella Loses His Shit
Columbus Blue Jackets' coach, John Tortorella, is notorious for losing his temper on camera. In a profanity laced rant, Tortorella ripped into the referees and the NHL after a 3-2 shootout loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks were penalized for too many men on the ice with 19.2 seconds left in overtime. However, the clock ran off 1.1 seconds after the whistle and time was not added back. Blue Jackets' defenseman, Zach Werenski, buried the puck past goaltender Robin Lehner, but the buzzer had already sounded. Had 1.1 seconds been added to the clock on the previous whistle, Werenski's goal would have counted and the Blue Jackets would have won in overtime. Tortorella was sure to let us know how he felt about it.
