NHL insider suggests crazy trade between Vancouver and New Jersey for Taylor Hall

As we all know, the New Jersey Devils have started listening to trade offers for pending UFA Taylor Hall. It has led Kevin Dupont of the Boston Globe to suggest a crazy trade between the Vancouver Canucks and the New Jersey Devils.

According to Dupont, he believes the Vancouver Canucks should offer either Elias Pettersson or Quinn Hughes to acquire Taylor Hall it's a sign and trade.

To me, this trade would be atrocious. If Vancouver GM Jim Benning were to make a trade similar to the one proposed, Vancouver fans would call for his demise. I don't think Benning is stupid enough to make this a thing.

Even Darren Pang voiced his disbelief in the crazy proposal.
