NHLTR: Calgary Flames huge offer for Taylor Hall revealed
The Arizona Coyotes won the Taylor Hall sweepstakes, but it wasn't an easy decision for New Jersey, as the offers were pouring in from around the league. Just as the trigger was about to be pulled, the Calgary Flames jumped in with a huge offer and stalled the process, giving the Devils something to think about late Sunday night.
The deal was believed to be more of a 'hockey deal', as the Devils decided to settle on a 'future's deal'.
Calgary's offer included forward Sam Bennett and defenseman, Travis Hamonic, along with a conditional high pick should Taylor Hall had signed an extension in Calgary.
Hall isn't expected to sign his next contract until July 1st of 2020, so Calgary could end up being home for Hall, after all.
