Report: Sabres defenceman Zach Bogosian demands trade

The Buffalo Sabres have learned, according to Darren Dreger, that defenceman Zach Bogosian has asked for a trade.

The rugged defenceman has fallen down the depth chart in Buffalo. Bogosian is in the final year of his contract, paying him just over $5 million. The New York native has only managed to play in 10 games this season, tallying 3 points.

With a reasonable cap number, the interest in Bogosian will be limited, however if Buffalo is willing to retain some of his remaining salary expect teams like the Winnipeg Jets (where 'Bogo' played 7 years with the franchise), Colorado Avalanche and Florida Panthers to come calling.
