Sharks' Melker Karlsson Takes Scary Slapshot To The Head

The San Jose Sharks have announced that Melker Karlsson is being evaluated after taking a slapshot to the head from Philadelphia Flyers' defenseman, Ivan Provorov.
With 7:39 remaining in the 1st period, Karlsson kneeled to block the shot while on the penalty kill, but it instead resulted with a scary injury for the veteran player. He did not return to the game.

We hope to hear a positive update on Karlsson's condition.
