Video surfaces of Sens' Nikita Zaitsev in Russia taking his kids from ex-wife

Nikita Zaitsev of the Ottawa Senators has allegedly taken his children from his ex-wife because he did not want to pay child support, according to Yahoo Sports.

In a video uploaded to his ex-wife's Instagram account 'margo_ruby', it appears to show Zaitsev carrying one of his children an fleeing from the camera. His ex-wife immediately went to the police.

On November 22nd. Zaitsev was absent from the team and citied for personal reasons for his departure to Russia. The d-man has been back in Ottawa since and has played 6 games since his leave.

His ex-wife posted a video to her Instagram with a caption wondering where her children are.

Zaitsev's agent immediately released this statement upon the video dropping:

The caption from his ex-wife's video, Zaitsev was joined by a couple of men that forcibly took the children from their mother.

Zaitsev was traded to the Senators from the Toronto Maple Leafs, and has enjoyed a season away from the spotlight. Until now.
