WHL team fires their trainer over threatening behaviour
The hockey world continues to work towards improvement, inclusiveness, and a supporting work environment as the allegations continue to pour in and the punishments follow. Today, another story has surfaced, involving the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League.
Former NHLer Dan Carcillo has mentioned recently, he's received 150 direct messages from former players who want to seek legal action against their old coach/trainer/ or hockey executive.
The culture is changing, one story at a time.
The details remain limited on what exactly took place, but as you can imagine, they were serious enough for an investigation and then of course, for this action to take place. Please refer to the attached message from the Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club pic.twitter.com/T8ELV84mCY— Swift Current Broncos (@SCBroncos) December 2, 2019
