Claude Julien Has Coached His Final Game In Montreal
The Montreal Canadiens are winless in their last 7 games. They have made some changes to their roster and have even signed the notorious Ilya Kovalchuk. The standings are rather competitive this season, and this skid has moved them from a top contender in the Atlantic Division to an NHL basement dweller. If you blame Marc Bergevin, it's certainly not because of a lack of effort. Instead, it seems to be the case that head coach Claude Julien has coached his last game with the Canadiens.
The Canadiens lost to the last place Detroit Red Wings 4-3, after having a 2-0 lead. Claude Julien has been trending on twitter since the end of the game, and the comments are not pretty. Bergevin has built a great team on paper, but seems as if their confidence and passion have hit an all time low. They can easily bounce back into playoff contention, but they must be willing to redeem themselves from this losing streak. Craig Berube will forever be the poster boy of mid-season coaching changes; why not attempt to duplicate last years' St. Louis Blues?

No amount of injuries is an excuse to lose to Detroit for a 3rd time.#Habs
