NHLTR: Justin Williams receives offers from 3 teams, deal expected soon
According to hockey insider, Pierre LeBrun, 'Mr Game 7' Justin Williams is closing in on a contract for the remainder of this season, and even though the Carolina Hurricanes have remained the favorite, that hasn't stopped the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs from making offers to the 38-year-old veteran forward.
It's expected a decision is coming in the next 48 hours, as Williams has been skating on his own for the past several weeks, gearing up for his mini-comeback.

Perhaps if one of the contenders added a second year to the deal, it would be a game changer, however, it's obviously been a tough decision for Williams to even consider playing this season, so you can essentially rule that out.All things being equal, it’s clear that Williams’ priority remains coming back with Carolina where his family remains.
