Oops: FOX Sports announces Gary Bettman's death live on air

On Thursday, it was announced that former NBA commissioner David Stern passed away at the age of 77. Later that night, FOX Sports in Tampa Bay, host Paul Kennedy made the mistake of announcing that it was Gary Bettman's death and not David Stern.

After news broke, Gary Bettman released a statement regarding the passing of his friend and colleague. And host Paul Kennedy stated it was Bettman's death and not Stern's.
