Video: Corey Perry ejected after smashing Ryan Ellis with a dirty elbow
Corey Perry isn't a dirty player, but this play wasn't clean. Perry likes to play in those tough areas and never shy's away from the physical aspects of the game. At this year's Winter Classic, Perry delivered a brutal elbow to the chin of Ryan Ellis.
Nashville was granted a 5 minute power play, Ellis has left the game for evaluation and Perry was shown the door. More to come as a suspension could be coming for the Dallas Stars forward.
