BREAKING: Vancouver Canucks acquire Tyler Toffoli from LA

The Vancouver Canucks have acquired forward Tyler Toffoli from the Los Angeles Kings, according to TSN's Darren Dreger.

The Canucks acquire 27-year old Toffoli with no salary retained ($4.6M AAV) for forward Tim Schaller, a second round draft pick, a prospect Tyler Madden and a conditional draft pick if Toffoli re-signs with Vancouver. Madden was drafted 68th overall in 2018.

Toffoli is in his final year of a 3-year, $13.8M contract extension he signed with the Kings back in 2017.
