Done Deal: Montreal and Pittsburgh complete 4 player trade
The Montreal Canadiens and Pittsburgh Penguins are usually two of the busier teams around this time of year and it appears 2020 is no different. The two teams have agreed to a trade surrounding 4 players who could use a change of scenery.
The Habs receive forwards Joseph Blandisi and Jake Lucchini while the Penguins receive forwards Riley Barber and Phil Varone.
A minor deal to try and spark each of the players in their new homes. Barber and Varone are both reporting to the Pens AHL team, while no word yet on where Blandisi or Lucchini will suit up next.
Busy times in the NHL as teams try and prepare for the playoffs both in the AHL and NHL.
