Done Deal: Ottawa and Edmonton complete a trade
As we reported days ago, Tyler Ennis was done in Ottawa and his new home will be in Edmonton as the two teams have agreed to a deal.
Ottawa sends Ennis to the Oilers for a 5th round pick in 2021, as the Oilers have made it clear to the league with their recent acquisitions, the team is going for it this year.
Ennis will provide some secondary scoring and be able to see some time on the 2nd power play unit.
Ottawa has the most draft picks of anyone in the NHL over the course of the next couple of years, if you're a betting person, maybe throw some money on them to win the Cup in 2025.
