Horrible news for the Edmonton Oilers
The Edmonton Oilers went for it at the trade deadline. GM, Ken Holland didn't sell the farm, but he dealt a slew of mid-round picks to add some pieces to their puzzle, in hopes everything would be in sync come playoff time. Turns out not all their new pieces will be available down the stretch.
With the likes of Oscar Klefbom already out, losing Mike Green puts a dent on the team's right side of their D. Look for the likes of Benning and Nurse to carry the load for the Oilers as the team tries to get back to full health in time for game 1 of the playoffs. From Oilers.— Ryan Rishaug (@TSNRyanRishaug) February 28, 2020
Edmonton Oilers defenceman Mike Green will be out of action for three to four weeks with a sprained MCL.
