NHLTR: Colorado and Montreal are up to something big
The Montreal Canadiens are on the outside looking in to the playoffs this season and with their recent moves, it appears the team is ready to enter sell mode. Insert the Colorado Avalanche and GM Joe Sakic, as the mile-high club is trying to load up for long playoff-run and the Avs appear to have their eyes set on completing a deal with the Habs.
Marc Bergevin, Habs Gm, has been in Colorado for almost a week now and there's a ton of chatter surrounding the motive of his lengthy visit. From working out the parameters of a Carey Price trade, to Jeff Petry, Ilya Kovalchuk and Tomas Tatar, the names have been flying left right and centre and Joe Sakic finally addressed the issue.

#Avs GM Joe Sakic addressed the media before the game. He was asked about Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin being her for two games in a row.— Ryan S. Clark (@ryan_s_clark) February 20, 2020
He said, "Marc's daughter goes to CU" and just left at that with a grin.
Very sly fellas. The two teams continue to work out a trade and it appears it should be announced before Monday. What the trade will include is anyone's guess at this point.Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin was just asked if his daughter really does attend the University of Colorado.— Ryan S. He also flashed a grin and left it at that. #Avs
