Rumor: Maple Leafs Target 2 Players In Talks With Oilers

It is no secret that Edmonton has shown interest on multiple occasions in acquiring one of Toronto's glut of young forwards. Recently, rumours have surfaced that the Leafs may indeed be interested.

It has been reported that the Oilers have again inquired about what it would take to acquire speedy forward Kasperi Kapanen.

The talk out of Edmonton is that, if right shot D-man Adam Larrson and talented (disgruntled) RFA forward Jesse Puljujarvi are not included in the trade, it is a none starter for the Leafs.

This would be a blockbuster of deal if it were to shake out. It would also likely be years before the true winner of this deal could be determined.
