video: Blues Bouwmeester collapses during game

The game between the St. Louis Blues and the Anaheim Ducks was postponed after Blues defenceman Jay Bouwmeester collapsed on the bench during the first period.

The 36-year old appeared to be grabbing a drink when he collapsed on the bench. Emergency medical personnel rushed to the player's aid. 

According to St. Louis' Darren Pang, said that Bouwmeester was alert and responsive as he was being rushed to the hospital. Pang also added that a defibrillator was 'close by.'
