Things got nasty between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Toronto Maple Leafs after Leafs' Kyle Clifford absolutely demolishes Canes' netminder Petr Mrazek as they were both trying to play the puck.
Toronto Maple Leafs' Kyle Clifford absolutely destroys Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek as they were both attempting to play the puck. Mrazek proceeded to head towards the dressing room after the hit which sparked a scrum.
The Hurricanes also lost starting netminder James Reimer at the beginning of the game after Leafs' Hyman cross-checked Jaccob Slavin into him. The Hurricanes have now called for an Emergency Backup David Ayres, 42, as their emergency backup.

Clifford was given a 5-minute major, and a misconduct, but after review, he was only given a 2-minute for charging.Petr Mrazek collides with Kyle Clifford.
