Zack Kassian Kicks Erik Cernak In Chest With Skate

Zack Kassian has been the center of attention for the last month or so. He served a 2 game suspension in January for his conduct against Calgary Flames' Matt Tkachuk and he will certainly be under review once again. Though there was little attention drawn to the incident when it first occurred, watching the replay shows how severe of an injury Erik Cernak could have faced.
Zassian kicked Cernak in the chest while they were both down on the ice in a small pile-up. Without discounting how severe of an incident this is, imagine if a quick reaction by Cernak resulted with his neck being slit wide open? This is truly reckless behavior.



Will Kassian be suspended for this? If so, how long?
