Zack Kassian Suspended 7 Games
Zack Kassian of the Edmonton Oilers has been suspended 7 games for kicking Erik Cernak of the Tampa Bay Lightening. The NHL Department of Player Safety also reported that Kassian had waived his right to an in-person hearing pursuant to the CBA. He instead opted for a phone hearing with George Parros.
Is a 7 game suspension an appropriate punishment?
