Boston Bruins start Go Fund Me page, meanwhile ownership is worth Billions
The Boston Bruins are owned by Jeremy Jacobs, who also as part of his Delaware North company, own the TD Garden building, where the Bruins and Celtics play. Jacob's net worth is roughly $3.5 billion dollars, meanwhile a Go Fund Me page was created to help out the arena employees. Wait....what?
While the gesture from players who have donated, such as Brad Marchand is an amazing display of humanity, it's tough to comprehend this is even needed when the ownership group is worth THREE BILLION DOLLARS!
If you would like to donate, you can follow the link below via Marchand's twitter account. As for the ownership group, they should be embarrassed of themselves.

Bruins owners, the Jacobs family, are all about “community” until it costs money to feed their own employees and their families. You should be ashamed @NHLBruins— Bruins Mafia (@BruinsMafia) March 14, 2020
