Despite Cancer, Oskar Lindblom Makes Team Picture
On December 13th, 2019, it was announced that Oskar Lindblom had been diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma. Just 3 months later, he is feeling well enough to make the team photo.
At the tender age of 23, Oskar Lindblom was informed of this diagnoses. Ewing's sarcoma is a rare form of cancer that forms in bone or soft tissue. According to the American Cancer Society, the five year survival rate for this form of cancer is 70%. Though hearing this news is absolutely devastating, the prognosis is reportedly positive.
We are glad Oskar was well enough to make the team photo!
