NHLPA Poll: Players want a more casual dress code

NHL players have being wearing suits for decades. It's become second nature for the league and the players have used their wardrobe to express themselves. Today the NHLPA released results after they polled several hundred NHL players, and at some surprise, players would prefer to put the suits away.

Results from the NHLPA player's poll indicated 73% of they players asked would prefer to have a more lax environment.

The results have surprised some, while others don't agree with the ask. No word yet if any new guidelines will be posted next year, as per most things in the NHL right now, nobody really knows.
