Confirmed: Taylor Hall wants to get paid
A contract year can be a stressful time for any athlete. The pressure of having to perform for a job next season can mount on anyone in the business, and the Coyotes' Taylor Hall is no different. As Hall continues to work his way through an interesting year, he's made one thing clear, his next deal will be long-term.
The Coyotes forward informed hockey insider Pierre LeBrun via the Athletic, that he will not be interested in a short term deal and wants to find a 'home' with his next contract. You can read more from the Athletic article here.
For now, Hall has returned to Toronto, as his Arizona landlord wanted his house back during the NHL work stoppage. His landlord just happens to be Maple Leafs superstar, Auston Matthews.

Somewhere, the Taylor Hall to Toronto rumors have begun. Some great perspective from Taylor Hall, who is quarantining in Toronto. (He left Arizona so his landlord, Auston Matthews, could have his house back.) https://t.co/5owhquOqtV— Daniel Nugent-Bowman (@DNBsports) April 15, 2020
