Donald Trump and Gary Bettman holding phone call regarding NHL future

The President of the United States is holding a conference call with all of the commissioners from the major sports at noon on Saturday, and Gary Bettman of the NHL will be on the call.

The call will cover all of the options moving forward for the sports world, but with several states and provinces closing up events until July, the likelihood is the NBA and NHL seasons will be cancelled.

MLB continues to consider playing games in empty stadiums in Florida and Arizona, while the NHL is now looking ahead to next season and there's even a chance the next NHL season doesn't begin in October.
