BREAKING: KHL Bans Several Player Agents
Over the past few weeks, several KHL players have opted to leave Russia to pursue a career in North America, and the KHL has finally decided to respond to these players.
The KHL has announced that several player agents are now prohibited from negotiating KHL contracts on behalf of players, in an effort to keep players in the KHL.
These agents include: Dan Milstein, Paul Theofanos, Mark Gandler, Robert Shpalenka, Jiri Gamal, Vladimir Gudachek, Vladimir Vuytek, Juho Sintonen, Denis Loginov, Vadim Kormilitsyn, amd Valery Zatsepin.
This is coming during a period of time where several KHL players have left to join NHL teams, like Alex Barabanov (TOR), Artyom Zub (OTT), and Arsen Khisamutdinov (MTL) to name a few. Alexander Romanov is all but certain to be joining Montreal, and Konstantin Okulov was rumored to be heading to North America, but has decided to sign in the KHL on a 1-year contract.
