Confirmed: Mikkel Boedker is done in Ottawa
The Ottawa Senators have been informed Mikkel Boedker is no longer interested in playing left-wing for the team, as the 30-year-old has signed a two-year deal to play in the Swiss league.
Look for the Senators to fill Boedker's roster spot with an up and coming young talent, as the team continues to rebuild. Given they have a ton of draft picks over the next few seasons, this move should not come as a surprise for either side.
The Denmark native has played in 20 games this season, registering a dismal 4 points. Boedker has played in 709 career NHL games, and has managed a decent career with 327 career points.
