Images: Caps Leipsic in hot water after insulting teammates and their wives
Washington Capitals' Brendan Leipsic landed himself in some hot water recently after some group chat conversations were leaked on Twitter showing Leipsic and others bashing his own teammates, former teammates and some players' wives.
In the DMs, Leipsic bashes both Edmonton Oilers Connor McDavid's wife, and former Canucks teammate Tanner Pearson's wife. Here's the screen shots:
He also went as far as insulting his own teammates on the Washington Capitals and former Canucks teammate Jake Virtanen in the DMs of the group chat. Have a look:

We are aware of the unacceptable and offensive comments made by Brendan Leipsic in a private conversation on social media. We will handle this matter internally, the Washington Capitals stated.After deleting his social media, he released a statement on Twitter.
