NHL moved up latest 'Return to Play' meeting to today!

The NHL is as close as ever to coming back from the Covid-19 pandemic. There have been multiple reports surfacing suggesting the league is ready to come back at the end of the month for training camp to jump into a 24 team playoff tournament for the Stanley Cup. Today, was supposed to be an 'off day' for the Return to Play committee, turns out it's time to make some decisions.

So close, yet it still seems so far away. The good news though, is everything is trending in the right direction. The cities continue to work with their respected governments on approvals, the protocols continue to be built and ready to be implemented and the players from Europe have begun to head back to the team cities.

Today's 'Return to Play' meeting is the most important meeting so far during this pandemic. Let's hope the update once the meeting concludes is exactly what we all want to hear!
