NHL Players Are Getting Back On The Ice

Some NHL players are getting back on the ice to prepare for the 2020 playoffs. European players have been skating for months as the Covid-19 restrictions have been much more relaxed than North America. The teams are not yet having organized skates, but former teammates and good friends are working together to get back into game shape.

Groups of guys are getting together at the Minto Arena in Ottawa, Ontario. The facility is allowing a maximum of 5 players to skate at a time, but the dressing rooms remain closed. Riley Brace, Calvin de Haan, Jean-Gabriel Pageau, and Cody Ceci were skating together this morning. Another group of guys includes Claude Giroux, Tye Felhaber, Francois Brassard, and Jason Akeson.

Check out some footage of their "practice".
