Report: Vegas to host the Stanley Cup Finals!

While the NHL and NHLPA executives vote on the latest proposal from the 'Return to Play' committee, it's being reported the final touches on the Stanley Cup finals are materializing.

According to the Le Journal de Montreal, Vegas has been chosen as a hub city(which has been widely reported) AND now it's being reported the city will also host the Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Final!

With the NBA shifting their focus to Disney World in Orlando, the doors of the Vegas strip have opened for the NHL, as they can essentially take over entire buildings and facilities with no questions asked. It also makes Gary Bettman tickle his fancy, because moving to Vegas has always been his baby, and now he gets to show it off to the entire world. Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet mentioned he couldn't confirm the SCF being in Vegas, but he did mention Vegas will be a hub city.

The announcement on the 24-team tournament format is being voted on Friday afternoon, so expect a major announcement from the league sometime this weekend regarding returning to play.
